I work in Finance & Accounting in the Reno Gaming market and received my Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013.  I started this blog in order to stay current on financial related topics from the national stage down to the local Reno/Tahoe community.  I hope to be of service to other financial professionals that are looking to receive up-to-date and interesting content about their industry.

I have recently returned to the University of Nevada, Reno in order to get a second Master’s (MBA) with an emphasis in Information Systems and Social Media.  The creation of this blog is also directly related to my interest in learning more about social media and how it helps people develop professionally.
